===================================================================

Philadelphia is transforming into the City of Arborly Love, one tree at a time! Thanks to TreePhilly, a program of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Fairmount Park Conservancy, property owners can join the movement by picking up a free tree to plant in their yard this fall. Choose between a variety of trees, including fruit trees!

Working with Tree Philly, Passyunk Square Civic Assocation, East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association and Leafy Streets Tree Tenders are hosting an event to give out 50 free yard trees on October 8 from 11am - 1pm at East Passyunk Community Center! Register here to request and reserve your desired species. When you come to registration, we’ll show you how to plant and care for it and send you home with a free bag of mulch to help get you off to a good start.

If you can't make it to our event, you can find detailed information on all the yard tree giveaways happening around the city at www.treephilly.org.

Trees must be planted in the ground on private property in Philadelphia, and there is a limit of two trees per address. These trees can not be planted in a container or in the sidewalk

Keep in mind that filling out this form does not guarantee that you will receive a tree. You will receive a ticket from Ticketleap and the end of your registration, but your registriation also needs to be confirmed and validated. You will receive a separate "Tree Confirmation Certificate" via email. You must bring a copy of your Ticketleap confirmation AND your "Tree Confirmation Certificate" to the event on the 8th to receive your tree.
